Noticed this saturday evening and it has gotten a little more progressive since. If i go over a rough bump sometimes i get a metal on metal rubbing sound from my front right wheel area... usually a moderate tap on the brakes gets rid of it. but then sometimes it happens when i also SOFTLY tap the brakes... and if i press the brakes any harder it will go away. I was thinking maybe it is my pads running slow or maybe something else like a loose ball joint, or some such. Can anyone add any more input on this situation for me before i spend money to get it checked out?:coy:

Possibles: stone stuck in pad groove, sticking brake caliper on floating pins or sticking brake caliper piston, bad pads or wearing down at angle, bent dust shield, loose wheel bearing or axle nut, loose or warped rotor.
