Bad FPR?

I currently have the stock fpr on the car. I bought some Denso 660's and installed them. Car ran like poo under boost (10psi). Thought it might be cause I don't have an ajustable regulator. So I put the 450's back in, car still runs like poo under boost. Has a small boost leak from one of lower injectors seals.

Basically the car runs good at idle and low rpm cruising. but anytime I give more than %30-40 throttle or the engine sees a moderate load it runs crazy rich especially when it starts seeing boost. I was seeing 8.9-9.6 A/F's. I tried leaning it out with my SAFC but didn't do anything. I have a greddy fuel pressure gauge tapped on top of the filter and it stay between 2.5-3 bar.
I read that bad FRP's will give a false rich A/F's. Can you test a FRP? Or is it just buy a new one?

If you have a boost leak fix it before you assume its the fpr.

Start with the known facts. Fix any boost leaks you have. Then continue on to assume or educated guess on things. or come back here with results

True, It was small but still needs to be fixed.

Just wanted to update this thread. I've been tinkering with it off and on the past week or so. I fixed my boost leaks and replaced all upper and lower injector seals. It helped a little but didn't fix the problem. I wound up replacing CTS and lower temp sensor, reset the ECU afterwards and it has resolved my rich issue. Hope this helps

Yea i had one from awhile back. Was leaking from TB gasket, TB shaft, lower injector seal and BOV. All small but were still evident. I am how ever still leaking into the exhaust mani. I didn't test when all the valves were completely sealed though.
