Have a ECU from a 95 that had ECMlink V3 lite that is running speed density in a 98. Car ran pretty decent then started running on 3 cylinders, thought it was a bad spark plug wire, changed them out and coil pack. Now won't run, just makes a few pops while cranking. Changed ECU to a Blackbox ECU I had laying around, car will start. Have to unplug a 3bar sensor and turn idle up and car will idle good. So some how chipped ECU won't work. Seeing how can I tell if it's or bad? Even reinstalled my good tune amd made sure I have the non 95/96 cam setting checked off. Just stumped at the moment.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4U6IgvpQrU

The board does look pretty good as far as I can tell. I’m not an expert or even a noob so maybe others can look at it and see if they notice anything with just the eye.

You sure you have the firing order on correctly? I’m not sure on your configuration you are trying to run. I check the 95/96 cam box on my 99. Ecm tuning did what they call a 97+ mod on my ecu so I don’t have to worry about swapping plug wires and what not. Not sure if this is something you have looked into.

If you can narrow it down further to just the ecu I wouldn’t hesitate to send it to ecm tuning. They took a $25 eprom I got from the junkyard and made it work flawlessly after they had found about 7 things wrong with it.
