2G Bad clutch? Please help!

Yes Christmas Day, merry Christmas to me I think my clutch went out. I was on my way to my grandmas and I noticed on the highway that I would press the gas and my rpms shoot up and I barley move. My pedal is hard at the top and it's difficult to start the car from a dead stop. It still moves but had horrible acceleration. Is this a bad clutch?

^^ I agree slipping and probably down to the rivets. Do you know How many miles are on it. Check out southbend or act or there's always exedy. Pretty much all 3 have shown to be great setups. I prefer sbc just depends what your looking for.

Start with the basics first. Bleed the system and go from there. How hard has the clutch been driven? Oem or aftermarket? Miles?

Check fluids, slave, master. It sounds like a bad clutch, if the car feels like its driving normal after a cold start then the clutch is worn & needs replacing. I had this problem going down the highway, turned the heat on blast & it helped a bit.

Sounds like a new clutch needed to me.

Sounds like bad clutch also. I would also check flywheel when all apart. Make sure it's good. If not get a new one of those to. Just get aftermarket brand act or something like south bend clutch.
