Backwards I know header->stock

I moved to CA and I have to take the header off my 1g and put in the stock exhaust manifold. What else will I need to complete this remodification? The header was on the car when I bought it so I'm not sure about what all I need. Anyone want to swap me parts? I'm not sure of the brand but it seems to be of decent quality probably was painted because the thing is different colors of metal, depending how close to the engine it is.

why do you have to remove it? what the cops dont know wont hurt you

It's not the cops that are the menece it's the damned SMOG people. In CA you have a visual inspection, and anything not OE gets nixed and your car doesn't pass. And my "friend at the SMOG shop" well lets just say the cops know now. And the shop is no longer.

get a stock manifold, a gasket (doubt you will be able to reuse it) and unbolt the aftermarket header, take off the gasket, put the new gasket and bolt the stocker on

dude. get a stock heat sheild and make brackets fort it. bolt it to header and it WILL look liek stock manifold. i did this on my buddies car and hes runnin a test pipe. you could never tell the difference.

if not i would trader you for the header. pm me and well talk

pop in an oxygen sensor and hook it up, and a stock heat shield, and that will look just like my stock manifold, it probably is stock, just someone took the heatshield off, you know?

thats not a stock manifold. stock manifols is a one peice cast unit. thats a borla i beleive
