That looks really cool. :thumb: Do you plan on marketing that bumper, and selling it to the masses? Maybe? Possibly? Please say yes. :D

I am unclear on the intercooler part, will the intercooler actually go up into the new slots that are opened or will you be using some type of air dam?

From what i gathered that is just some extra cooling.. Because the intercooler is taking up the whole other air dam.. Am i correct?

boostinaintez, thanks .. I aim to please.

SilenceEvolves, that would be cool but Josh is a one man show right now so we'll see what the response is to this bumper and go from there.

speedy13, we test fitted it on the car before final prep - WOW. In all honestly people will love it or hate it (I'm pulling for love it) but I'm okay with either opiniont. But hopefully most will appreciate the work that went into making the piece.

Jaronk56, I hope so. I would have been easiest to fill in the fog light holes only, but since this car is going to be making the trek to and from work during the week I wanted to give it every chance to keep things 'cool' in this AZ heat.

mike97gsx, buddy, long time no talk .. glad to see you are still lurking on the forums. I appreciate your comments. Any thoughts of coming back to the DSMs?

napkinthief, cool name. The new slots, or a we call them "pig nose" will be mainly for providing additional cooling to the condensor and radiator since the AGP intercooler gobbles up the entire bumper opening (note, I've run without the "pig nose" in the past and never suffered any adverse effects).

Flip_4G63, thank you. I've been a fan of the color ever since I saw it on the Toyotas. Seeing it on Mr96GSX408's car only confirmed how I felt about the color. Oh, and you are correct ... good job following my rambling thus far.

Got it painted, mounted, and finishing the car up for the upcoming Nopi event here in AZ. Can you dig it?

Thanks Josh.

It reminds me of a 1gb talon bumper with the little black things by the hood release. I realize this doesn't make sense, just look at my avatar.

HHHMMM.... I think I like it!
I'll count that as a moral victory. Thanks for your feedback.

I'd have to see it on the car before I could say anything about it though. Probably will turn out pretty cool. Nice originality on that.

You said you'd have to see it, and made a very good observation, didn't think of that until you mentioned it. Hopefully I still retain some of the originality 'points' you gave me since this is a 2G. Thanks for following up.

alex99gst, thanks for the kind words. I too really like the no fogs and smoother bumper cover, it makes the AGP FMIC look huge - at least in person ::wink::.

igopoopy, that's the plan as of now. I expect no less than a 11.50 based on the mods I've added to the car since my 11.91, and since I have no cage I may be ending the outing with a spot in the car show or something. Either way, I'll be there.

I like it, the only thing "I" would have did different would be to get rid of the cut-off area on the sides near the top of the I/C .
That's an excellent point Ed. I shoulda consulted you before the project ::another wink::. I appreciate the comments. Your car is looking great as usual.

for some reason it reminds me of a grand prix at a quick glance. i love if though, very original.

Good job on picking an excellent color! Reminds me of my car =)

Another individual, 10k mile supra. :)

Just posting a few pics to compare from stock to a respray. I gave a quick glance at yours and it looks quite the same. However resprayed they a lot of times look darker. Not trying to say anything, just showing others the color more. Great color in my book.

gthompson97, that same comment was made by Josh at one point .. and I can understand where it's coming from. Although I'll say this, in person, clean, it makes a much different impression. Thanks ... finished (detailed) pictures to follow soon.

ILLiCliPSE, those 'nostrils' are going to be very love/hate - that's for sure. Ultimately, whether I were to ike them or not I tell myself they are functional for getting air to the condensor/radiator and all is well again. Honest, feedback so thank you.

Mr96GSX408, as stated earlier seeing your car was definitely a major factor in the decision to go with this color. Also, with the car originally being silver I didn't want to stray to far from the original shade. Two QuicksilverFX eclipses ::rulez::.

GSTicky04, terrific examples of the stock color on the original car(s). I'm a regular on the Supraforums.com and have always loved Ryan's car as well as Peter's new car .

scirio, man nothing gets past you guys. Yup, the are on backwards as I was running a different set of wheels and threw these backwards - whoops. I'll get that fixed now that the car is home.

S_Ranger, that's a new one. That's why I like hearing people's impressions. I'll have to check that out next time I'm the presence of a GTO. Could be worse I guess. Thanks for posting your thoughts.

FYI, those pictures were taken be moment we had the front bumper on. There was about an inch of dust covering the car and the door caps weren't even on ... we washed it last night, made me shiver - I'll post some better pictures as soon as I put the interior stuff back in.

Thanks for the all responses thus far.

Hmmm... I did notice that. GTO. LOL. Well, despite the fact that it resembles a GTO, you did amazing work on that bumper. Good job! :thumb:
