Back Rear Tire rubbing fender!!! ANnoyed

ok..i have a 98 GST, tokico shocks Eibach 2inch drop springs, camber kit installed with 235/45/17....now, i know that i have larger tires than normal but i was just wondering if anyone had a answer for me...

Only my Rear passenger side tire will rub agaisnt the fender, all the other tires clear fine!! is there any company that makes spacers or anything that can kinda raise my back up or if anyone has had the same problem please send a reply....everytime my tire rubs, feels like someone is running thier nails down a chalkboard!!! EEECKKKK!!!!:(
 
If your tires rub on full compression, then you may need to get the inner lips of the fender rolled upward. Before doing this of course you should visually inspect to see if this will solve your problem.

To do this, you can go to a shop and pay... hmm, sometimes half an hour of labor... or $400 for some fancy machine...or the cheapo way of cutting slits in the lip every few inches and banging it up with a dead-blow hammer :)

My first car I had done by a body shop while they were doing other work and they rolled it nicely for only the half hour of labor. My current car I decided to do it myself so I pulled out the dremel with some fiberglass cutting wheels and went to town.

However my roll didn't solve the problem for my big 255 tires, so I had a local import shop look at them while they were doing my alignment. They had a machine to handle the rolling but of course charged a lot of money to use it (I'm sure the machine was expensive though...). However, they said that the way I had rolled it did as much as their machine would have done. Oh well :) My last hope is a local custom body shop that says their rolling machine actually flares the lip a bit. I may try them out after tax season just to see what they can do.
 
If you're lookin at spendin several hundred dollars for a shop to roll your fenders, why not just go ahead and spend that money on some Ground Controls, have the adjustability, and not have to worry about bending or cutting your car in the first place. Just my $.02

The key words here are "full compression". I don't care what magical shocks you put on there, if they rub at some point prior to or at full compression, you're going to need to either move the tire or whatever's rubbing (this case the fender) out of the way.

Now, he might be able to raise the suspension a big so that on most compression he won't reach the point of rubbing, but unless the bottom seat of the shock is somehow raised (larger bump stop?) it's still going to rub at some point.
 
Do you not know what Ground Controls are? No, they're not a "magical shock" as you like to call it. They're adjustable springs...and by having adjustable springs, he can set his own ride height. By doing this, it stops his tires from rubbing the fender.
 
hey, thanks for all the input guys....ill probubly take it to a shop and see how much they will charge to bend my inner fender peice in, if it cost too much probubly buy me some groundcontrol springs
