does the B&M fuel pressure midifier act the same as a fuel pressure regulator?? and does it bolt right to the stock fuel rail?

yes and yes

That is if you're speaking of the Command Flo, the purple top one. It replaces the top of your stock pressure regulator and allows you to adjust your fuel pressure from there. It also includes a port for a pressure guage.

Yep, if you look closely you can read the CommandFlo labeling in white. If that's the one in the classifieds then that's a pretty good deal. I think he was asking 50 bucks shipped, which is 15 bucks off normal price. You can get the gauge from RRE too.

Do not buy this product unless you plan on RAISING your fuel pressure.

It DOES NOT allow you to lower your base pressure.

o..i definately need to raise it..LOL

does anyone have any pics of this installed so i have a good idea how it gets hooked up and works??

AND Do not buy this product if your planning on installing a larger fuel pump.

Since it reuses the stock FPR it shares all the problem the stock unit has with overrun.

Not a problem if your planning on raising the base fuel pressure above the overrun that you get with the larger pump. I've been doing this for about a year now with the Command flo and a walbro 255 with no problems.

Just wondering, what do you have your base FP set to?

It will work fine, until you want to lower pressure.

Regardless, I wouldn't recommend it.

Its fully adjustable, it just wont let u lower it below stock fp which is 38psi on a 1g. which i have no idea y you would want to lower it below stock fp anyway :talon:
That point may be valid...

...until you run an upgraded pump.
