axle stuck in trans

im going to be replacing the motor in my 92 galant dohc soon so the motor and trans has been removed but the axle will not come out of the trans on the passenger side not sure if its supposed to be stuck in there? but no matter how much i pull and pry its not commin out.

You're having a hard time with the PASSENGER SIDE? The driver's side is usually the harder part because of length. Did you try taking a large, flat head screwdriver and prying against the axle and tranny? Sometimes you gotta do it pretty damn hard. I had trouble when I first did my swap. I just kept at it until it came out. You'll get it bro...dont worry.

i swear this thing is not coming out, ive used giant flathead, pry bar everything its just not coming out

Thats normal. Its stuck on that ring. I had to take a pry bar and wedge it in there and kick it repeatedly to get mine to come loose. Laid on my back and kicked the thing as hard as I could a bunch of times before I finally got it.

i had the same problem with my talon. try pryin and tappin lightly on the flat head, wit a hammer, at the same time.

I had to kick the pry bar too. It takes a bit of force to compress the c-clip into it's groove and release the axle.
