i have a 90 eclipse gst, im just changing the cv's and i cant seem to get either side out of trans is there a trick or a c clip im not seeing?

A giant screwdriver or a prybar will work. Use a hammer to help with force. It is tough, but it will pop out. Just be glad you didn't break the axle and the whole cup is inside like I had. (Axle was already broken).

i used a pickle fork to get mine out, only took one hit from the hammer and it popped right out, most auto parts stores will let you rent them

All good tips, just be careful you dont tear up the axle seal in the tranny, mine were hard to come out so I just jammed a screwdriver in and destroyed the seal, but I had already decided to rebuild the tranny so wasn't worried.
