Alright, here's my issue. One of the boots ripped on my front driver side shaft. It's getting water in it, it's rusting... You know the deal. In any case, it needs to be replaced before I do any other 'bigger' mods.

I was wondering about getting a Fidanza half-shaft. Regarding this, I have two questions

1) Does anyone know about that brand of half-shaft? Is it worth buying?

2) In the long run, ould it be worth it to just buy both driver side and passenger side shafts?

And, actually, any help in this area would be much appreciated.

Thanks! :dsm: :talon:

Unless you are planning big power gains I would stick with your run of the mill axles as these are much less expensive. You are going to spend a lot of money in the future to get it up to par. Might as well drive safe in the mean time. Replace both axles as they are relatively inexpensive.

Good Luck

you can just stick with the factory axles that are on the vehicle. NAPA has a good price on them, but there is a core charge..so when you replace them you need to save the old one so you can get your money back by returning it to where you purchased it.
Also..replace both of them at the same time because when one shaft will go the other is soon to follow. It will save you some time and hassle so you wont have to be down there twice. good luck man. :thumb:

cardone makes them too, advanced auto distributes for them. i got both fronts for my 92 gsx for around 140. one was brand new and one was reconditioned.
