hmmm from what I was told is that clutch master twin disc isnt worth it .

When the question arose as to what I was going to use this year I was told to go with the act 2600 - 2900 package with a fidenza flywheel. that was about it.

What was made clear to me though was no matter what I should refurbish my awd system and all the bushings for my tranny . Now everybody has their own preferenses .

I fully trust my mech ,knowing he's my buddy I know he would not lead me astray, that and hes breakin into the 8's this year.

The solution we came out with for launching was, since I will be using the turbo xs dual stage boost controler this season, I will launch at 4800 rpm at my street boost setting (14 psi).

Then when in second gear I will switch to my race boost setting (19 psi) thus giving me a less destructive launch while keeping my 60 times decent.

To top it all off I've decided to go with a NX 75 shot of nos for the trip in third. In my own experience the stock clutch system was only good enough to get me to 12.8.

Now Knowing my clutch is totally burnt I notice a huge differenc on the street while trying to accelerate. In my opinion you could always look at ways of not abusing your clutch and tranny.

Well it all depends on where you are power wise. I really think the twin disk clutches are only good for people that like to drive around town like they are trying to win the championship and guys making WELL over 500hp. Those guys end up replacing 2600s twice a year. At that point a twin disk is worth it.
