Hey guys, I'm installing all my new suspension parts when I came across something odd. The new axle I bought from napa is a mitsu part because I know people who can get them there and when I tried installing the driver front I noticed there's like a gap or keyed groove that slides into the half shaft. I cant figure out how it goes on. Has anyone noticed this? The groove is in the cv axle splines.

Ok sorry to confuse you, it does sound like I'm talking about the retaining clip groove. There is like a missing spline if that clears it up.
