AWD converted to FWD for dyno, safe to drive?

DSM Wiseman

Ok I have a spool in my tranny and am gonna drop the xcase and driveshaft to dyno the car.
Is it safe to drive it around FWD at all? Or can that damage the rearend?

It will be fine. I wouldnt drive forever on it because it will wear the ring and pinion but to the dyno and back will not harm it.
