AVCR Problem

ok, i've been trying new settings for my max boost on my avcr(setting A) and no matter what i seem to set the max bar it, it goes farther. Right now I have my setting to 1.10 and duty at 50%(dont really understand what duty does though) and at WOT it jumps to about 1.04 and will pull to over 20lbs of boost and hit as high as 1.54 on the avcr. Help? My car definitly flies fast now but im afraid its gonna hurt my engine.

I have an AVC-R on my 1992 Twin Turbo Stealth R/T and basically what you want to do is start out with your duty cycle low and build it up, the duty cycle is how many times the boost solenoid opens and closes the ticky ticky sound. Basically start out with a duty cycle low and then do a few good 3rd gear pulls and see if it has overboosted, an overboost condition will show up as ** on the duty cycle, if that happens turn it down a little and then do another 3rd gear pull, keep on doing that until the ** doesnt show up on the duty cycle part of the controller, if you dont know where to see all of this it is on the same screen as you make the duty cycle adjustments. Thats basically it in a nut shell though, star low with duty cycle and bring it up as the AVC-R learns your car better, I hope that helps a little or is a little more descriptive
