I have an SAFC-II and an external wastegate that is tuned to 8psi from the SAFC-II. If I were to get an AVC-R, and turn up the boost, wouldnt i have to tune the safc every single time, to that pound of boost? I see people with safc and an avc-r, and they just turn up the knob and BAM!. HELP?

Yes & no. The factory MAS will meter the additional incoming air & inturn adjust the timing & fuel for the new conditions. Now depending on which maps you end up on & your current airflow you may have to tweek it abit to get it bang on where you want it but you will still be in the ball park. For example I've run between about 12-20 psi on the same tune & the readings on my wideband are within a couple points. So like I said you'll more then likely be pretty close but you may need a couple tweeks to get it dead on.

True, I agree with the above. Your MAS with be in the ball park, thats what the point of a MAS is.
