auto zone motor mounts?

hey guys i was just wondering if any one had ever tried auto zones front and rear tranny mounts mine are gone and i need some quick, or does any one have any suggestions i don't usually cheap on parts i just need them asap just wondering if they are worth the money or not. mine are torn so bad the prothane inserts do nothing

I used an Autozone front trans mount with a Prothane insert and it still started cracking/ripping after 5k with a bone stock gst. But for under $20 it was worth it considering that my original mount was in 2 pieces.

You might be better off with getting some good used mounts from a wrecker/classifieds and putting Prothane inserts in.

Do this. Go grab a couple tubes of 3M Window Weld, 1 should be fine but you might need 2. Take out your old mounts, tape off 1 side. Put a piece of painters tape or whatever around the bolt that goes through the mount and stick it through. This prevents the window weld from blocking off the hole, the tape on the bolt is so you can get it off easily if it bonds to the bolt. Fill the mount with the window weld, smooth off the top part and let it set for I think at least a day, more the better. Cheap way to fix a mount and have semi solid mounts. This can last for a decent while, years...I did this to mine and while they are SOLID SOLID, they are much better than stock. I plan to move to some Flexane 94a once I locate some stock mounts.
