I recently bought my 99 Eclipse gs, and it came with an automatic transmisison. I'm not real fond of this idea, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me just how big of a project it would be to convert this(or have somone convert).

I'm having a mechanic friend of myne look at it this weekend before I start the project slew of upgrades to diagnose a couple rattles I hear when the engine hits about 3.5-4k rpm and then starts winding down.

This forum looks really great, and I've already learned a ton reading through various posts and faqs, and I cant wait to keep everyone updated on my pretty new toy.

Thanks for that link. Looks pretty good, and was pretty much what I was expecting. Time to start pricing tranny's.
