Auto to Manual/FWD to AWD

Was doing research, seen some stuff on auto to manual conversion, and not being able to convert fwd to awd because of an AUTO. Is that true? I'm getting ready to do it, if it isn't true. I'm hopin I misunderstood what I was reading.

I have a 97 GST Spyder Auto FWD

my car is manual and awd converted i do believe there is a difference

it would be better if you go manual and awd : D

You can convert any 2G turbo car to AWD with either transmission type.

Ahh thanks for the answers. Sorry for posting in the wrong spot.
Going to move forward then, auto to manual then fwd to awd at the same time while I have it all apart. I must've misunderstood what I was reading.

Im looking on doing the same thing, I have a 98 spyder gst. Already have 16G evo 3 turbo, and want to feel the power through stick.
