I've been dealing with some extremely hot coolant issues. Some days just cruising normally, I'd reach just about 230* and that's with a colder thermostat. My issues are:
1. Running a SINGLE slim fan which was only rated at 900 CFM
2. No DUCTING
3. Large FMIC
The stock fans are rated between 1300-1600 CFM each so I'm trying to get something close to or better. I went and bought 2 SPAL fans.
Due to only having a 1.5" gap between my wastegate and radiator, it restricted me from using a puller fan on the driver side.

I decided to mount a pusher fan in between the FMIC and the AC condenser since I wish to retain keeping cool during the summer.
Fan A: SPAL 12" puller rated at 1630 CFM 30102038
Fan B: SPAL 12" pusher rated at 1230 CFM 30101505
Total CFM 2860 CFM
Everything went smoothly and the pictures will tell a better story. Unfortunately, the 12 pusher was too large in diameter to fit. Turns out I need a 9" which will cut the CFM in half as I only have 2.5" to play with. There is a high flow 9" but is 3.7" wide
Well here are pictures of my whole setup. So far it seems to run a little cooler. I don't have my Link cable so I cannot verify temps. The duct work makes the needle take longer to get to the middle of the temp gauge so it should be good. All-in-all I'm very happy with the end results for both looks and effectiveness.
Managed to find everything I needed at Ace Hardware.
Chopped the stock duct system up and managed to fit it all in there. Here is the stock duct.

Cut and taped. The red portions were removed. I was basically left with 2 separate pieces, an upper and lower half.

Took aluminum bar plate, cut to length and drilled a hole for the fan side. Marked the next hole, drilled and mounted.

Foam'd the space between the condenser core and radiator. I chose to split it like that so the puller fan pulls from one side only and not pull from the pusher fan on the other.
