Everything was going so well. I put 500 miles on it without a hiccup. Then I noticed a puff of blueish smoke on every start up. I'm guessing this is bad valve seals, which pisses me off because supposedly the head I installed was rebuilt to OE standards.

Then while driving, the car suddenly begins to overheat. I shut it down before any damage can occur. I'm guessing this is just a bad t-stat. Still, it was undriveable and I had to hitchhike to my house and get a trailer.

To top it all off, the car has developed quite the idle surge, almost overnight.
The next race is at the end of the month, and I don't foresee the car being race ready by that time. I'm a little fed up with this car right now and I'm not feeling motivated to continue with it.
Should I just sell it, do an engine swap, try and keep working out the kinks? I'll have to think about it.
Besides, I think I'd rather start devoting time and money to my red turbo Laser.
