AT to MT swap and the E.C.U.

I am getting ready to do the Auto to Manual swap on my 91 Eagle Talon.
I of course have the web site that shows all the steps and everything you have to do and have been reading anything I could find, but don't remember this being adressed.
But when discussing this with a friend he seemed to think you need to change the ECU, makes sense but I haven't seen anything on having to swap those out.
If anyone who knows the answer or has done the swap could help me out I would appreicatte it.

You dont have to swap the ecu unless your upgrading to the stock 5-speed turbo setup (14b/450's)

Well the Turbo is what I have.
But when you say STOCK , if I do a little building to the engine what about that?

Oh, you did the turbo conversion already, yea you need a turbo ecu

Ok sorry I think we might be getting mixed up here.
It came with the Turbo on it, its the 2.0 Turbo engine.
So it actually has the ECU for the Automatic w/ Turbo already inthe car.
Which of course will be discarded.
Sorry for any confusion.

If your simply making your car from auto to manual and leaving all the other components alone your fine.
