Can't get speedometer to work after at to mt swap...

Well, i did the swap, the car runs great...but the only thing that is wrong is the speedometer will not work at all. Could this be because I still have the auto ECU hooked p? I also left the auto TCU out of the car...but I don't think that is the problem. I am looking for a 96 m/t ECU anyways to increase the rev and fuel cut...Any help is very appreciated!

Also, I still have the auto tranny if anyone needs one. It is in perfect condition and I'll let it go pretty cheap....just email me at [email protected]!

Well I done an AT/MT swap in a 93 Talon. and my speed-ometer works fine.

im goin to take a guess on this because i dont know anything about the 2g n/t trans. check on the trans and look for the speedo cable. take it off and pull out the braket it mounts to. there will probably be a plastic gear on the end of it. check to see it it has been rounded off. that could be ur prob, hopefully this helps to give you an idea of what to do.

Thanks for the post, eclipse, but I know the speed sensor works fine...I had the same tranny in my old eclipse, and it didn't sit a month and a half before I did the swap into my new one...I went here (http://www.armond30.com/adp/smartquestions.html) and followed the directions, and double-checked my wiring, but still nothing happens...so I am thinking I need to change to a m/t ecu.....which I was going to do anyways...but thanks for the post!!!

I reconnected the TCU on mine and it worked.
