Does it matter how big the flex section is? Im looking at two right now. One is 2.5 with a 6" flex piece, the other is 2.5 with 8" flex piece. Does it really matter either way? What would be the advantage of a larger piece.

Are you talking about for downpipes? Mine has an 8" flex section. 6" would probably work too, but I would rather have a little more flexibility.
