So I know that for Manley I-beam Todd the arp 2000’s are supposed to be trq’d to 60 according to Manley, but when I trq originally the oil clearance was off by .005, made a rookie mistake re-trq’d and instead of paying attention to the trq wrench I had swapped to 60nm with equals to 44lbs and some change… but then torquing at that and re checking clearances I’m within spec at 3 thous… any help here…….

You are not suppose to torque the bolts in order to have to correct clearance, if you torque the bolts as manufacturer instructions and your clearance is out then the problem is elsewhere.

What part number rods do you have?
Which lube did you use?
How did you check the oil clearance?

Maybe this thread can help you https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/manley-i-beam-rods-tightening-torque.532228/
