ARP bolts?

Hey guys, when I rebuid my engine, I know for sure that I will be using arp headstuds. But is it necsessary to use arp mainbolts and rodbolts To. Also are they tough to install or do they come with instructions.

The ARP hardware you are inquiring about (head studs, main studs, and rod bolts) are all an improvement over the factory hardware.

The main stud installation is straight forward, but on a six bolt motor you may find some difficulty attaching the oil pump pick up tube brace to one of the #2 main journal studs.

The big ends of the connecting rods should be reconditioned after installing the rod bolts, as they are a press or interference fit into the rods and may cause some distortion to the connecting rod housing diameter.
