arp headstuds not going in?

So I bought arp headstuds from https://www.thedsmgraveyard.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=MV:207-4201 and everytime I try threading them in by hand they won't go in.

I thought 6 bolts and 7 bolts had different size headstuds but in the link it says they fit all 1g engines?

6 and 7 are different. 6 bolt has 12mm studs, 7 bolt has 11mm studs. A lot of companies don't realize the 7 bolt was used on the 1gb as well...

Just to confirm, they are indeed different from 6 bolt to 7 bolt. DSMGraveyard should know better.

Yup, I got 6 bolt ones then... damnit, time to give them a call tomorrow, looks like my build's gonna have to wait... some more.
