Hey, remind me when you get here this weekend that I have a spare bleed-type boost controller and a Wideband sensor (No controller) to give you.

he says he did a test at idle with soap water but i told him to just take it easy on it till i can get up there and we can do a real boost leak test on it and replace all his clamps with t bolt style and put the fmic i got from l7dropkick on his car and hook it up right with a different bov and all that fun stuff. kei when you said rewire the fuel pump what are you talking about on that ill look around on it but just wondering.

Hi. New to the forums, and to be honest pretty new to tuning. Had a 91 Eclipse GS about 10 years ago, got a 95 about 6 mths ago. So I'll be asking a lot of questions. Lol. Love to meet up with some of y'all though. I live in Mayflower, by the way.

Nothing real specific. My neighbor has a mean 08 evo and I've been pestering him about where to start. I don't want to go all out, just a little faster and paint and a kit. I'll paint it myself, but the perf stuff is out of my knowledge. Starting with exhaust I believe...

Update on my car... Decided to recalibrate the wideband, once calabrated I was able to get the numbers to react to my changes. Also removed the leaking bov and plugged it just to get the idle dialed in.

I found out what knocked my o2 sensor off, when the car is running I didnt have the ground on the battery secured. It came off and caused the car to stall for just a fraction of a second. But it caused the CEL to throw, checked to see what it was and it was the front o2 sensor.

After that it was acting just like it did before calabrating. So tomorrow I will calabrate it again and make sure the ground is secured.

Im getting a little idle surge but I think Im on the right path.

Welcome man. Your the only n/t on here. Its cool, when is the meet? Going to do a boost leak test tonight and fix my power ground problem. Hopefully get the running smooth for the meet. It sure would be nice Haha.

28th of July ;) I think its best, gives everyone a months time to take off or schedule in. I'm down for one before hand though if anyone else wants to have a small one or anything assuming I'm not working.

On another note I need bigger injectors, 550's aren't cutting it now.
 
If I can find a cheap intake pipe that has the recirc fitting we are going to use a recirc bov.

Right now the car has a injun intake without the recirc fitting.

Its either that or run speed density. Im not sure if I know how to tune on speed density. Im just now learning how to use the 2g maf.
 
Its about right for the people that live in searcy and benton. Its close to us but if its worth it its worth the 5 bucks
 
####ing.goddamn piece of shit..... my intake.manifold is leaking....... don't ask, I have no.clue. brand.new gasket..... so dissapointing. Did my.first blt. Fixxed all the leaks to hold up to 25 psi (I couldn't hold the pipe closed with my hand) . And wondered why my system wasn't pressurising then heard it coming underneath the intake. Its hard to tell of its my HG but I doubt it is.... if I change the gasket and it doesnt fix it. Il probably.off this mother####er. Sorry for the language its one after the other after the other after the ####ing other.

Anyone intrested in one hell of a deal on a camera? I have a Nikon D90 SLR and 18-105mm lens. Some extra things to go with it as well.

Asking $600.00 for all of it, camera still comes with a 2 year service aggreament at Bedfords Camera.

Thats about $1000.00 cheaper than you can buy it new. Just need the cash so its gotta go. I have all the paper work, boxes, and reciept for bedfords service and warrenty.

This is a pro quaility camera if anyone wants to get into photography cheap this is the deal.

There is a secret (Not really) to assembling the intake manifold.

1 : Place manifold on studs.

2 : Screw stud nuts down. Shift the manifold up and down until you can tighten it flush.

3 : Insert TOP MIDDLE bolt. Tighten flush with Manifold.

4 : Go under the Intake manifold. Place 2 bolts in the center (These offset the top bolt). Tighten flush.

5 : Tighten top bolt some more.

6 : Alternate top and bottom, but don't torque yet, until all three are tight.

7 : Tighten outside nuts.

8 : Install and tighten all other bolts, sequencing from top to bottom.

You have to install it flush and apply pressure from the middle outwards. Same way that you do with a head. A little RTV on the gasket will help as well.
