What do you use to make the cover with?

Think I may raid the salvage yard very soon.

I use a piece of stainless steel and have it CNC cut across the street from me. Haha.

Having access to a cnc is always nice... what do they charge to cut it?

Needing money to get piping for the fmic.

I have parts listed but havent had much luck moving them. Anyone want a complete 2g head with AEM adjustable cam gears? Ill take 200 for the entire setup. (SOLD)

hmm.. Seems that now i have no headlights, taillights (Have brake lights) windows, or door locks.

Fuses are good, relays are getting power and have been swapped 3x.

I never messed with any of these things, and they worked when the car ran last. cant be a coincidence that ALL of these things seem to be broke at the same time?

but i do have blinkers, Windshield wipers *front ant back + washer fluid motor works*, Hell even cruise control i have...

Anythoughts? I cant seem to grasp the concept of the wiring diagrams in the chilton and haynes manuals.....

Happy Easter!!!

They're posted in the classifieds?

Happy Easter!!!

Had the same issue with my 90'. Turned out I had one of my negatives on the battery switched around.

I know how ya feel. I need to post stuff up in classifieds. All I need is 150$ or so.

Kinda sad im the only AR tuner member with a 1G. :(

While going OVER the exhaust manifold is ridiculous, I enjoy utilizing the stock SMIC location because it keeps things out of the way and clean. I originally had my piping run directly from the FMIC straight to the Throttle Body Elbow and I hated it. Mainly because it took up that small amount of space under your intake, against your shifter arms on the trans, and over your lower radiator hose.

That's the issue I am looking at now also. I moved the fuse box to the side of the frame under the intake and it will be in the way for the short route. So now I'm thinking about going back through the smic side and use a j pipe and under for the drivers side.

Having the cruise removed and the harness ran on the firewall and under the frame has really cleaned up the engine area. A smaller battery on the frame and it will look much better.

Hm, Can you get a picture looking down beside your radiator on the passenger side to show the clearance between it and the fuse box? I may be relocating mine depending on that.

Yeah, that's fine. I'm looking for clearance where the stock Coolant Tank mount is. My current aluminum reservoir is mounted to that mount and if it means I have to relocate that it may be too much of a hassle.

Did you have to extend many wires?

The fuse box wasnt too bad, just pulled it from the loom and re-routed it. The harness going to the engine required some cutting and extending a few wires. All splices were soldered and shrink tubing used to seal the splice.

The engine is completly wired in the pictures except for the coils.

Also removed the alternator wire and replaced it with 4ga to the fuse box.

I might have to look into doing it. :) First I have to get this throttle body rebuilt. I had a boost leak and did a BLT - .... thought I had blown a damn tire. Turns out the rear shaft seal on the TB went out. Also, the damn screws on the butterfly were corroded and stripped so I have it at the machine shop having the screws extracted today so I can get the damn thing apart and rebuild it.

Wish I had a 1G TB.

Engine bay looks good, by the way.

Good deal. Thanks.

Where did you route that Alt wire?

Good deal. Thanks.

Where did you route that Alt wire?

Same channel as the harness that goes under the radiator. Installed loom on it and attached it to the same points as the other harness.

Also fabbed a new battery cable to the starter and grounds from battery to frame and frame to engine. All in 2 guage copper...

Did you use the stock Looming or did you use something more visually appeasing and better performing like Nylon sheathing?
