Jus needs no introduction or backing when it comes to rebuilding turbos'. He's likely one of the, if not, best available for such a good price.

For the record, we will have a plethora of HX## turbos' available very soon. :)

I know it says a/r .50 and that it came off of a john deere LOL I did some diggin and found that out

Any takers

new link cable fixed my issues, paid my taxes :(, got tags and insurance, fixing to order a fp race manifold. this weekend I hope to be selling an s10 shell and getting the cash for my turbo, then a few transmission parts and should be ready to rock

I know where an FP mani is for $175. Let me know and I'll get you in contact with them. I'm running an Fp currently and absolutely love it.

By the way, James - Do you have a spare Throttle body with good seals lying around?

Either. Just needs to utilize the stock j pipe and have good seals.

If you can run a boost leak test and confirm the seals are good on it, I'll come get it tomorrow.

I hate to go off topic here for a sec but I need a little advice. So dsmbandit was having some timing trouble with his car. He told me it jumped time about a tooth after going for a test drive the other day. So I went up there today to see what the deal was and he had it in time before he put the motor in and after he drove the car the timing marks moved. Come to find out he didn't have the timing belt tension pulley holes facing up having to much slack on the belt letting the exhaust cam move. So i helped him time it again today and got it all lined up correctly. It starts perfectly but there is a noise coming from the top end now. The only thing i didn't time to the mark was the oil pump but only because he has the
balance shaft removed and he said it didn't have to be timed to the mark due to the balance shaft being removed. I was unsure of this until i got home and looked it up in the forums. I'm kind of worried that he's damaged something with the belt having to much slack in it. Any thoughts?

If the balance shafts are removed the oil pump timing should be OK.

Check the clearence on the lifters and if you can do a leak down test it can tell you if a valve is bent.

I assume the ticking increased as the rpm's increased.

so anybody want a puppy? half lab half wennie 100% adorable. we have 11 alltogether, they are on soft solid food. needs a good home

So are the Intrepid coils the same as the 300 coils?

Thinking about building a COP.

Update...
got 4 intrepid coils and a 3" GM maf today!

Grabbed a map sensor off a v6 camaro but it ended up being a 1 bar :/

Seems like it ran better out of time.... very upsetting. My drive to fix time is way off and i am kinda getting burned out ####ing with it..

Going to get some slack out of the belt maybe it being way to tight is the problem..

Looking for a set of 2.5 to 3.5 stright silicone couplers and a Link GM MAF 2g cable.

If anyone has these and wants to let them go let me know. I have a few parts I can trade or make an offer.

Also anyone that wants to put a big drop on their car I'm going to go back to the stock springs.

no body wants a cute little puppy?

Wife has a dog, dont need anymore LOL

Hey guy I need a head count for how many people are going be at the meet so I can buy enough food!! And bring your own beer if you want too! So let me know like if u bring guest or what not.

I have a question for the people running Link?

Right now the car will be running a VTA BOV, (do not bash please). I have a GM MAF and was planning to use it. I do not know much about tuning or setting up Link yet.

Would I be better continuing with the GM MAF or going with speed density?
So far, all I have is the GM MAF, still have to get the cable and couplers, I will sell the maf if the SD is better/easier to install/tune.

I also grabbed a map sensor off a v6 f-body but it turned out to be a 1 bar map. I am having trouble finding a 3 bar at pick and pull.

The MAFT is easy to use - just zero it out. This will allow you to VTA without any draw backs.

Speed Density is better but is a bit more complicated to get setup properly. With Link and a MAFT you should be able to make all the power that GST can handle.

Thanks, I was thinking about selling the GM MAF, guess Ill hang on to it then. Will see if I can find some 2.5-3" couplers cheap and get the link cable.
