I always done it that way but I use a silicone grease for the O rings.

Also check the fuel rail to make sure it doesn't have burs.

Are they all leaking or is it the same injector?

Do you have a spare rail?
 
At first all 4 were leaking, then I switched them out for the ones from Extreme PSI and all was good for about a week and now number 4 injector is leaking. Very very small amount, but enough to make my fpr gauge bounce. I can put my finger behind the injector and smell some and kinda see some on my finger.

From what I could tell, there was no rough spots in the rail where the o rings slide into. I don't have a spare rail.
 
That's weird. I've never even used a lube and mine haven't leaked once...I'd try double checking the injectors or the fuel rail, no matter how you lube it, they shouldn't fail in a week...

Alright guys, done some good amount of research on gear oil. I'm going to run pennsoil syncromesh till I can afford MT-90. Also about to swap out them injector o rings.

Anyone know a friend of a friend that cleans injectors? I dont feel like making a fancy injector cleaning tool and would rather pay someone local to flush them out.

I wonder where the twisties went???? I think some asshole in a black gst robbed them while i wasn't looking :tease:

Anyone need a 7-bolt short block, 7 bolt intake powder coated blue, 2gb high rise wing, or A/C parts. Ill make you a good deal

I may have found the culprit. I feel like a tard... There wasn't a seat for the injectors. Or whatever it's called. I think when I put the injectors in, I was pushing them too far inward.

Oh, I stole them off of another set of injectors I had.

Chad that would definitely be a problem LOL.

Installed my much needed last piece of hard-pipe (MAF to turbo). That was a super bi*** to get in there with the j-pipe in the way. Its soo tight I didn't even have to secure it. :sneaky:

Ordered a new AEM AFPR and got a free Mishimoto catch can thrown in. POW! :D

Looks like it will be this weekend I can tune for 20-22psi.

I have been driving my car WOT only to about 4.5k (boost creep so have to let off) ever since I put this 16g on. Can't wait to make a pull to redline!

haha there goes the 680cc injectors I just got...

I cant stomach any more cash for this car. Shes drained me for awhile.
