^ That's what I was thinking. Mine would idle around 30. my eg6 runs around 60 on a cold start then drops around 20 at running temp back up to around 50-60 at full boost around 9k rpm that's well over 120mph. (both engines being 2.0l turbo common knowledge says you shouldn't be anywhere close to 100psi at 75-80mph, i'm also going off you being in top gear) too much CCP is a big problem a lot of boosted honda guys have. (granted a lot of people look down on the honda group for clear reasons but there is good info to be had from some of them) It's why I mentioned drilling and venting from the VC with a proper oil catch can. sometimes the PCV just isn't enough with set applications.

And catch cans are very common on these boosted mobiles. A lot of good info in the search bars regarding those David. Probably pick up some lost power from that as well. Too much resistance in your rotating assembly.

Finally got a place to work on the car. Rented a storage unit off university ave near UALR. Plan on doing head gasket, cams, turbo, suspension, etc...

Anybody want to stop by and lend a hand. Will give you a deal on my used parts.

Stop!!!! Dont let these savages touch my parts! J/K J/K ROFL Man save some work for me after this weekend. I'd love to work on someone else's car for a change...:p

On a side note, today when I went to my car after work the muffler was hanging on the ground. Had to wire it up and drive to A.P.E. and get it fixed. They just put a straight pipe in. Sounds pretty good now! LOL

I saw the post on facebook. Glad you got it fixed...gotta hate random problems.

I have a catch can. My oil pressure raised when I put ACL Race bearings in. I just need to port the oil filter housing. My idle pressure is 25psi at 1100 rpm. So apparently you can become immune to the smell of gas LOL. I thought my car smelled awesome after vacuuming it and spraying some new car sent in. Well come to find out it smells like pure gas in there LOL. I can't smell it at all, none. My friend asked me how I can stand driving around in it. I guess replacing the fuel lines and fuel pump screwed me up. I may need to see the doctor soon.

Anyone have an AFPR I can buy? I got my 255, 650cc injectors and tune all ready to go in, but I hear that some people w/o an AFPR have problems with the 255.

Dammit. I really didnt wanna have to buy any more parts. Guess ill be ordering a FPR now. . .

Are you building boost while using the 2-step? Seems like 4900 with boost should work for your launch.

Yeah I'm at 5psi

Fp Green, 4900 two step, only building 5psi?? That sounds low, but i could be wrong cause my auto is completely different.

That initial bog is from the two step not releasing instantly. My auto did the same thing. It is because ECM Link cuts fuel not spark to limit the revs and because dumping the clutch the car is still below the 5mph thresh hold so two step is still going for a split second.

Go in link and change the speed thresh hold limit for the two step down to 2-3mph and use anti lag to build more boost.

That's exactly what I was going to do. I didn't have a laptop with me unfortunately. It takes a good second or two to fully build boost. I'll boost leak test it again and make sure I'm not missing anything.

Somehow Fatw is leading me back towards DSMs....there's a Twin Turbo Stealth parked in my driveway. >->

Does anyone have a diagram or pics maybe to the vacuum system on a throttle body? I'm thinking maybe when I changed my iac I missed something. And since my egr has been eliminated the vacuum lines are just hanging free...idk if that's right or not.

Edit: what's the best thing to spray for finding vacuum leaks? I'm gonna pick up some starting fluid today and try that. I know there is a vacuum leak someplace, I can easily hear it.

You could do vacuum delete. I haven't done it myself, but it is done to my car. Cleans it up some in the bay. There is a diagram in the website somewhere. I've come across it a few times.

I'm just trying to figure out some problems. They all started when I tried changing my IAC and when I removed it I realized I has a 1g on it. From the 95 ecu I have also being my guess. And since I had a 2g iac I put the old one back on....yesterday I was thinking about it and idk, maybe I didn't hook something back up...which is why I was asking about the vacuum lines xD I couldn't find a diagram LOL there is one coming straight up from the egr, but it doesn't do anything...I didn't know if there needs to be a bolt or something to cap it.

Edit: base fuel pressure was also like 46lbs with the vacuum line off. Put that back to 43. Haven't driven it yet, but it idles a bit better without as many misses.

I did the vac line delete on mine. If you dont already have the EGR plate, get it (like $8) and I can show you my setup. Gets rid of like 5 hoses and helps limit leaks. I also have a boost leak tester/air compressor so it sounds like you need to take a trip down to Cabot. :thumb:

On a side note, i'd like to try and get this meet thing to happen. Even 4-5 cars would be cool! Anyone have plans this weekend?! Let make this happen.

I sent a really long message but the send message on here for mobile doesn't always send...so I lost it. Anyway mine has had most vacuum deletes done. If I had your number I could text pics. Idk about an egr plate, but that vacuum line does nothing at all. I put my thumb over it and it did nothing. I also have a boost leak tester and air compressor but very little time to do anything with it being my dd...need another car LOL

I plan on taking my head off this weekend. Where can I take it to get the surface cleaned and cams installed?

Came across this place

Rebel Rebuilders

I used them and they are good and reasonable.

They actually did all of my block work as well.

Gentlemen, I am proud to be back in the DSM game as of yesterday with a 95 GSX ( Thanks Adam!!!)

It has a boat load of aftermarket parts with a 6-bolt that needs to be installed.
Had to take a cussing from the wife over it but i think it was well worth it :hellyeah:

My talon is moving to:
Too Much Stuff Self Storage
2010 S University Ave
Little Rock, AR 72204

Plan on take the head off today. Will use storage place to do a lot of work that I have been putting off. Feel free to stop by and turn a bolt.

PM me for my cell phone number if u dont already have it.
