Haha yea its alright I think some alt wire might have got messed up in the crash going to pull ecu and see if fuze box might be fried do a little more searching before I give up

Got a wild hair up my ass and decided to start pulling the engine in the gst today. Got the head off. 2-3 are down, 4 is up. And 1 is about midways. Lol I wonder which is ####ed. Hopefully I can save the block.

Also got the AC compressor out since it was just hanging out back there.

Now that I think about it chad. I don't think this can be the right one, the AC belt is its own belt, and this is a smooth pulley which it should be a grooved pulley.

Interviewed for job with entergy at Redfield for a maintenance / operator job and tomorrow I interview for a chemist job with entergy at Newport.

Both jobs will require a good commute, I'm looking for a cheap Geo metro to commute to work since it gets crazy MPG's.

If anyone knows where one is at let me know.

Anybody got any ideas to this power issue im having my ecu anf fuse box look to be fine yet no power even when I hook my battery up its not even acting like its trying to pull power from it

If you have a test light; check your fire. Check that fuse on your hot wire.

Ok ive got power back re ran my ground wires but still having the problem of when I try to start it I get just a click and the positive battery terminal heating up

Is the starter engaging or just the solenoid?

Its not engaging at all every once in a whole it will try after I leave it alone for a while so just the solenoid

How well is the engine/starter
grounded?

I would ground your engine wire to the starter bolt, if it is. Check your hot wire on your starter. If its touching. That could be your issue

Sounds to me like your battery may be down some, my 210 recently did this, charger the battery full and try again.

Mine is grounded to the top right tranny bolt. Mine had a weak connection until I changed the grounded location to a different bolt.

I dont think a dead battery whould cause the positive terminal to heat up............im thinking the positive wire is grounded out somewhere have no idea tho I havent toiched anything but the alt

A ground would short continually unless its associated with the started.
