A full cage vs underlying reinforcement.. I'd lean towards reinforcement. Something about a cage just irks me.

The cage kills the look I'm going for.

This would probably be all I want

Anyone have a spare head? Year doesn't matter. Trying to help a friend get back on the road. Needs to be ready to drop cams in and go. Can be with or without rockers or lifters. Should have valves/springs installed and in good condition.

I think I got a spare 7 bolt head? off a 2g. on the cat subject let me give you some in sight the platinum inside is what they are after oem cats are worth money aftermarket is not unless you buy an oem replacement from an autoparts store... perfect example our magnaflow cats at my work only run about 100 bucks... but our oem repmaclment for a 94 Camaro runs about 300 per side.... I had my exhaust guy explain this to me since he does my work for free if I let him have my old cats.

by the way anyone in Arkansas got a 95+ front wheel drive 5 speed tranny?

Good 1g head in my shop

Sorry, sorry only driveline part I have is a auto transfer case

The head is complete with cams gears, everything. Took it off a running car with a lower end knock.

Well cleaned the shop to prepare for my mini rebuild. Gonna change head gasket, redo timing belt, port and polish heads, rebuild valve train with cams and springs, oil port mods, port and polish intake, turbo, and o2 housing, and install my FP mani. Goal is my end of Feb before autox season.

Nice, I wish my shop was that clean.
Even with everything organized my garage is full.

Guess I have too much stuff. Lol

It usually isn't this way and with my wife's SUV and the talon in there it gets cramped. I finally put up some shelving but need some overhead storage to hold some bigger stuff like bumpers and our bikes.

Anyone purchased the Jay Racing tools? I'm tempted to do this will go smoother and make things easier in the fall when I rebuild again.

If you mean the white plastic gear locker then yes. I was already capable with tb changes but that tool made it a breeze.

Yea I'm gonna pick them up, the pulley tool, white tooth thingy, and tensioner bolt from JnZ.

Got the harness, hoses, and covers off in about an hour, fluids drained and just waiting for the Mrs to get home with dinner before I tackle the turbo.

Spent all night trying to get the rear axle out of the 300ex. Damn - there's a single part that's got it caught. All I wanna do is change the rear dif. =/

Foind one local for $50. Hang on to it though. May need another for myself soon.

I'm on the look for a dodge D50 or Mitsubishi mighty max transmission.

If anyone knows where one is, let me know. It's my next hurdle in this swap.
