are some brands of knock sensors better than others?

I need a knock sensor for my car and im wondering if there are different brands or different types. I own a 1g. Are the ones right from mitsubishi different than ones from a local part store or from buschur?


next question:
Do non turbo DSMs have them also? Are they the same?
