Are Axxis Metal Masters good for Track Use?

Are these pads good for Road Racing... heavy braking under high speeds?

I'm sure the pads will be fine, the question is; What kind of rotors are you gonna have them paired up with?

i had those paired up with powerslot rotors... they were AWSOME ! and i had hawk pads in the rear.


that was with a 2g awd big brake kit on my 92 talon.

we use the metal masters in a lot of our brake kits and we love them and have gotten the same reviews from our customers but for track use i would recommend the Axxis Ultimates instead.

I use the metalmaster in the rear with power slot rotors and use power slot rotors in the front with porterfield R4-S compound pads, but I kept the stock single caliper small rotor front brakes since I just bought my 13" Weld rims from my 24.5 slicks for track use. Otherwise I would have ran atleast the dual piston caliper with larger rotor. Maybe even the AEM big brake upgrade. A local DSMer has those and talk about a stop, feels like the teeth want to come out of your head and go to the dash.
