I bought and installed 7mm ngk wires about 3 months ago, and the car has been driven about 300 miles in that time. I just resolved a major idle issue, and now was working on solving a rough idle and what seems to be a miss at low rpms (600-900rpms). I was out there at night so I decided to check under the hood in almost total darkness, and saw that my wires are randomly arcing against the stock fuel pressure regulator and the mount for the timing belt cover I think. So I'm unsure of how I should proceed. I'm not sure if I should simply replace the wires, and if so, with what? I'm posting because I've read that many people on Tuners have had great luck with NGK wires. Can I get some thoughts and opinions please? I have NGK plugs as well, and one thing to note-I do not have the ground strap connected to my exhaust. I wasn't sure if this could in any way cause my problem, but I didn't think so.
