can anyone tell me why my clear coat is lifting my paint and primer? (on interior pieces) Its creating a "crinkled" effect. Pictures coming.

Must not be the right kind of primer because it's not adhering to the surface at all. That's why it's lifting.

Incompatible substrates....example = lacquer clear over enamel primer or paint.

Yeah exactly what he said!! The clear you used is probably a lacquer base and it just soaked right into your color and softened it up and made it lift!!
