1G Anyone using plx wideband?

Just curious on opinions with ecmlink and plx... was it a pain to get the crossover right for NB sim? Does it need a buffer if i put it in egr temp location(searched and some say it may others say no). Im ready to ditch my mtxl and am doing pre purchase research.
 
plx M-250 and i hooked it up but it never did anything. The sensor heated up but the controller dident read anything. On link it never read anything ether. I used the rear o2 signal
 
This is a 2g, but I am using the PLX SM-AFR DM-5. I have mine setup in the front o2 location with the 0-5v signal wired to the front o2 signal wire on the harness to the ecu. I am using a switch point of 2.35 with no issues.
Have you considered using the front o2 location and simulate using ECMLink?


I will be using the same configuration on my 1g when I get t that point in the build.

Wont get into it but Ive tried everything with my mtxl and it kills sensors so I want to run the plx. Ideally I will put the o2 sensor in front housing but i keep having to change them currently. I would really like to not run a NB sim(unless my o2 actually works right) so that when the wideband craps out I have the stock NB doing what ikt is supposed to.

If the plx doesnt cause premature sensor failure I will gladly run it in the front housing on NB sim.
 
I have had my wide-band o2 sensor in for about 11 months of use. This has included nearly a season of Rally cross, autocross events, and around half dozen track days. I have not had one issue in the current configuration.

People say that about MTXL as well.. but has not been the case for me. PLX in my honda has been flawless.
