Anyone using COPPER turbo inlet gasket?

I have had great luck using a single piece of 22ga solid copper wire as an o-ring/gasket back when I was lame and ran a mitsu hot side. Never failed after lots and lots of bad abuse.

I now run a genuine John Deere embossed stainless t3 gasket on my holset.
 
I ran one of these copper manifold/turbo inlet gaskets. I seems to seal really well but it blew out the side on a 30+ psi 4th gear pull after about 4 months of running it. I did have to remove the embossed portion though due to the porting on my turbine housing at the time..

The copper unit I run between the head and exhaust manifold seals great.
 
Would just like to add my experience with these copper gaskets. DO NOT BUY them they are junk. I have tried all three. Each one never sealed right, bolts would continue to back out, and after about 5 months they distorted and cracked. :notgood: :notgood:

Use the oem gasket like justin says. I just wish they sold a multi layered o2 housing gasket.
