This gauge will only tells you knock sensor voltage. Its not the same as knock count.

The knock sensor's signal needs to be processed by the ecu for the information to be useful.

Search "SAFC Blue Wire Mod" for more info on this.

I just did a serach on the blue wire mod, and I dont quite understand how this relates to the knock sensor. From what I read, the blue wire mod is for reading o2 sensor voltage useing the SAFC.

Guys Thanks For the input!!
Will EVO scan log Knock count?

Actually not true. Ecu use knock signal to retard ignition. It is not processed in other way, it is only filter out not desirable noises. All known detonation signal processors works in same way. Differs only displayed result. If you need show result as digital number then you need to use microcontoller.

Way no use for it?
Just answer few question for your self.
Do you change boost frequently?
Do you have boost controllers?
Do you have proper fuel octane?
Is you fuel pump works OK at right moment?
Does injector malfunction happens?
Human error when coding ignition or fuel maps?

So someone is right. Save money. :thumb:
