How loud is yours? I've got a bone stock 95 GS-T, and I've contemplated taking the stock muffler off, but unfortunately I'd have to cut it off because the bolts are completely rusted on. I'm leary of doing it though, because I don't want to piss everyone in the neighborhood off if it's ungodly loud.

The only car I have in comparison w/o a muffler was a 97 Grand Am GT, and this thing could have woke the dead it was so loud without a muffler, but it also didn't have any resonators either, and by the looks of it this car comes with 2 of them as well as the cat.

I tried looking through the exhaust clips, but first of all, I'm on a 56k connection, and secondly half of them didn't work. Any feedback would be much appreciated!

I tend to like the slightly louder, more agressive tones. IIRC, SRT-4's run without a muffler (come with a cat and 2 resonators) and I love their tone. It's not overly loud, but enough to catch someones eye when they hear it.

Buy or build a decent exhaust. You'll like the tone and it will actually be worth while from a performance point of view.

And to answer your question directly, I do not have a muffler on my car, but it is a 3" full exhaust and does have a resonator. Not too loud, but enough that i have to keep the music up on the highway.

Thank you. I'm wondering if the stock pipes would be loud, or full of rasp if I took the muffler off.

Run a muffler and build/buy an exhaust. You will get way to much attention from unwanted people. Get a nice 2.5" exhaust for now unless you plan on ditching that little turbo soon otherwise you will start getting boost control issues as well.
