As a follow up, CO fumes take time to dissipate from any surface. Just make sure you're not saturating yourself in gasses constantly, cuz the only way to purge yourself from them is a highly oxegynated environment for at least 2-3 times the exposure time. CO builds up in your system so you have to be very careful about exposure time and making sure you get plenty of fresh air.
