anyone running a tubular manifold on a daily driver?

I got the dnp header only because a piece of my stock 2g man cracked and got stuck in the turbo :mad: this was after I only had the car for three months. I wasnt taking that chance with the 900 I spent on the T28 so I bought the dnp off ebay for 350 still in the box. That was a deal i just had to go for :) . As for tubular vs cast. Most guys just say simple settup is the way to go. If I had it over I would probably go ported evo mani. Oh well Ill stay with the bling bling header till she cracks :p BTW its my daily driver.

For all of you hating on SS Manifold and the DNP in particular I drive 2100 miles a week for my job and have driven over 50k on the DNP manifold without cracking. Maybe a few people have had problems with SS Autocrome or other cheaply build manifold but the DNP is a nice product. I would highly recommend this product.
 
i have SBR ss tubular on a 20g and i give my car f n hell and no cracks

Turbonetics cast manifold is also a good choice. Takes some porting to get it nice but thats it. It comes with the wastegate off the runner already which is nice if you don't wanna run an internal gate turbo.

Turbonetics w/ a TIAL fits the hood, thats its downfall. You need to build an adaptor elbow to prevent this.
 
I have the DNP Manifold. The only issue i had with it is it made my exhaust alot louder then it originally was. I now ride with the silencer in around town to stop any police hassling. IF you can deal with that along with the price on the manifold itself, I would say go for it and enjoy.
