anyone regularly use fuel injection cleaner?

i was just curious if anyone uses fuel injection every three thousand miles or if you think its a waste of money. its only a couple of dollars so it couldnt hurt right?

I use it every oil change and sometimes in between. Whenever I add another vehicle to the family, I will add some ASAP. I will even run some in the boat and snowmobile.

I usually use the name brand concentrated (Prestone, Gumout, STP, etc. ) and I do think it helps!

I'll say it's a waste of money.

So there, this is the situation in the world of cars.

I say you don't get dirty gas, because it's cleaned so many times before it gets to your injectors.

However, other than the few spent dollars, occasional use should be harmless. Over-use could have deleterious effects on the various rubber and plastic parts of the fuel system.

You have a fuel filter for a reason. I've always referred to things like "injector cleaner" as mouse meat.

I use it occasionally. Don't know if it really works or not. It has never hurt anything.

ive never used it - injectors dont cost that much to replace
and there easy enough. In the world of dsm'ers most people will
prob end up replacing them a few times anyways as they mod.
