anyone out there with some free time wanna help someone new to tuning?

Hey, this probably gets asked a lot but is there anyone who has a really good understanding of the way tuning works and how to tune with evoscan/ecuflash combo that wants to kind of help me thru the basics of things?

Im a lot better at picking up on things when I know where step one actually begins and what step 2 is etc... Is there a good walk thru guide for people who have no prior tuning experience? and using these two programs specifically?

I keep finding threads here and there but they go on for pages and pages and information that you read in the the beginning isnt even accurate by the end haha and with all the off topic posts and +1s its hard to really follow whats going on...

Sorry if Im just not finding this somewhere right under my nose, I could be searching the wrong terms I guess...

"How to tune an evo" thread on EvoM.net is going to be one of the best entry level threads into tuning on this application. It uses Evoscan and Ecuflash, so the tuning program is different, but the understanding is directly related to ECMlink. Start reading through the tuning section on EvoM. It's one of the best places I've found to start learning tuning.

Wes (knochgoon24) is a Wiseman on here that has lots of tuning experience with EvoScan, hopefully he can pop in here and give you a few guidelines for initial setup.
