Well i bought an autometer boost gauge and serevrly hate the nylon line that they give you so i went online and found a kit from diamondstar motorsports that supposedly gives you a fitting for your gauge, rubber vaccum line, zipties ect in the picture. All for $21 shipped to my zip. Now all i need is that fitting the rest is easy enough to get on my own but sense i couldnt find just the fitting i went ahead and ordered it anyways. Now after further research i found that one person says he did not recieve that fitting only the rest of the items that are in the kit and they wanted another $3 for that fitting. Now if thats true then why the heck is it in the picture? i really hate sites that dont put a description under the items as it is but if that fitting is not included there gonna hear it from me. It says in there returns section you can only get 90% money back if you call them with a descrepency before it ships out otherwise your SOL especially on an item that is that cheap. I just want to see if anyone else has ordered there "boost gauge installation kit" and if it does in fact include that fitting in it as pictured on there website? Any help is greatly appreciated. heres a link to the page with the install kit im reffering to: http://www.diamondstarmotorsport.com/gaugeparts.shtml

why does eveyone hate the nylon line? its thinner then rubber and it should be more accurate since its cant expand and contract at all. it also wont dry out and crack like rubber.

if you must ditch the rubber some of the local guys around here just use like 4 inches of nylon line with the end flared and then hose clamp the rubber line onto it.

see thats what i did with my last dsm and it worked ok for like 2 weeks then started leaking where it went together. So i had to JBweld all around there and it sealed forever. I just figured for $21 shipped i mayaswell just get that kit and not deal with having to jb weld things and make sure fittings are sealing correct ect. I also had to patch the line in two places with rubber hose because i cracked it running it through the firewall and kinked once:toobad: . im just trying to figure out if this stupid fitting thats pictured is included or if there picture is BS and they screw people out of that piece?
