anyone know how to install the greddy emanage on our cars?

k couple things i dont understand like do i need the E-MANAGE IGNITION HARNESS,E-MANAGE INJECTOR HARNESS.there are other things to? i dont understand what i need, just the main unit?? thanks
 
hum, i can be of some help......

i just got mine in the mail so as for installing it im in the same boat ur in, looking for pin out diagrams and such.....but anyways...

1. "main unit"......comes with wiring to install and run it...you have minimal fuel adjustments....all done with a screwdriver....LOL

2.you need the "support tool" to hook up your laptop..it comes with the cd for the laptop and the serial cable for laptop to emanage connection.....

3. "ignition harness" is only needed if you want to bring its tuning to the max.....this allows you to adjust your timing 20 degrees advance or 20 deg retarded from stock...not positive about the numbers but thats what it does...if your not going to tune on a dyno or dont know much about tuning i suggest you save your money on this one for a while

4. "injector harness" for use with aftermarket or bigger injectors.....the cool thing is if you have your car tuned with the stock injectors all you need to do is chance the cfm of the injector in the laptop and the rest is all auto....if your running stock you dont need this

5. "Boost wire and sensor" if your running turbo you might want this aswell.....the sensor reads boost and tells the computer to add more fuel per the lbs of boost.....if your running non turbo, these two go witout saying...

i hope that helps cause thats about the extent of my knowledge with it as it sits on my floor....awaiting the rearrival of my car from the body shop....then ill install it and get her tuned on the dyno!!
 
well im gonna be pushin some high boost so i will need the ignition,and injector harness's
well actually why would u want to retard your timing and what not what advantages do u get maybe all i need is the injector harness
so to install this your just gonna go buy the information provided on 2gnt.com?
 
well im not sure the reason for retarding a motor unless you need it to be easier to start, but were not talking big inch harleys! were talking mitsu vs. mopar LOL...... anyways with the right air / fuel mix you can advance the timing to get more horse power altho the motor will be harder to start and someone correct me if im wrong, but the chance for cylinder detonation is alot higher (or knock).....there are other reasons for advancing the timing that has to do with cams and what not but my knowledge of tuning only goes so far, as for retarding....eh got me.....

as for the harnesses, you said your going to be running high boost so i advise the boost wire and sensor.....
also if its high boost and your changing out your injectors, then yes get the injector harness......and well for another what $35 get the ingnition harness too thats what i did under the thaught that dyno tuning might call up a use for it, or not but its ony $35.....

the entire setup shouldnt cost you more than 581.35 shipped, thats what i found it for....hit up my aim or pm me and ill send you the link if you need it


oh....i didnt know there was info on 2gnt.com to be purchased......no im not going to buy wiring diagrams that dont make scence unless its an entire book of the rest of the info for the car...LOL..... as for the install i have no idea.....ill hopefully find what im looking for soon!.....all i need is a pin out diagram for the 420A- 2G.......i can figure the rest out as i go
