I can't really judge what these eBay tail lights would look like actually on the car, (2g) . Anyone have any pics or any tips for what ones to get. I love the clear tail lamps but there to hard for me to find. Pics would be great

Anyways, in my honest opinion, any tail lights except for the stock headlights would look rice. But if you really must have different taillights, then check Andy's Auto Sport for a good selection.

IMHO all of the "euro" and "altezza" tail lights look like trash. If you want something different, look for EDM tail lights, and there are some super rare clear lens lights that I believe are from the EDM cars as well.

Man I have some ugly ass smoked altezzas in mine and I'm desperate to get rid of these and get a nice pair of stockers. I have not seen anywhere else selling different taillights than altezza which they are kinda rice

I agree... Big ass exhaust + aftermarket lights looks like .... Nuff said... Better to stay classy then trashy! Stock lights are just fine for the DSM! The EDM DSM Stock lights look sick. I saw a thread of them a while back! People said they were hard as hell to get... Also don't you need to change some wiring for them? I can't recall!

The old APC all-clears are all that I know of. I don't think these were produced past the 2000-2001 era.

They're actually illegal because they don't contain a red reflector, but I've never been bothered by state or local police one bit. There are a ton of cars on the road today with similar taillights- if anything ever arose I'd gladly show the judge that the lights clearly have a DOT stamp on them.

Justin and rcarbajal got it! There is some minor rewiring to run the EDM lights, just because they have a dedicated amber turn signal instead of the dual filament tail/turn bulbs. Shouldn't be hard to do at all

^extremely expensive and the clears are super rare. The edm ones are also rare but imho not a fan of them.

Spray on def does not look like shit. You just must not know how to paint. The common mistake children make is not clear coating than buffing after spraying the tint. Ive done several pairs and they come out looking glossier than stock.

I just sold a pair of clear tails for 150 without the center. Funny part is 95% of the people on this forum were under age 10 when they came out .

That's a good deal you gave out, they usually go for 300$+ for a full set (sides + middle). I have a pair I look at and put on once in a blue moon, it's the car's sleek tails when she needs to impress

Don't have a buffer.. Sprayed my fogs without buffing and looks like shit when the lights come on... The shaped tint sheets are like 50$ and very easy, why not.

I live in PA and they're required to be amber, got pulled over and fined and I almost snapped .... I painted mine flat black now.

Most people don't though, because amber bulbs look ugly in the clear housing and the quicksilver (or whatever they're called) bulbs are a little pricey. The quicksilver bulbs are the ones that are clear when off, and light up amber, just for reference.
