I have been looking for a used motor for quite sometime. I have gone to roadraceengineering website to search for vendors of used motors. I have called them and they are out of motors. I have called a lot of places and the ones that seem to have a good reputation don't have any turbo motors in stock. I stumbled acrosse Naganojapanese and Ardperformance.com. I don't know anything about either company. I have also done a search here to see where most people get their motors. They are a pain to find but those two places have them.

I am looking for a second motor because the machine shop who put mine together screwed up. The balancer shaft has a lot of play and you can actually pull about 2-3cm of the shaft out of the front cover. Because of this, the balancer belt got shredded by the timing belt and you can imagine what happened.

I got screwed once and I don't need to get screwed again. I need a good used motor, but sometimes I think I am just better off buyin a package from slowboy. I have already spent a lot of money on this motor. I just need some motivation to keep me going with this project...I need to see it running before I give up. So any one please help me out...

SBR or oher venders can get you a head for under 400. Then just put with old motor minus the balance shaft and you wil l have a rebuilt motor for less than a used one. :thumb:
